Job Duties
- Supervise employees according to company policies and laws
- recruit, interview, and train staff
- assign and direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees
- coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior and foster a warm, friendly atmosphere
- assist team members with job duties when necessary
- execute corporate and local marketing programs to build sales
- champion sales and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
- maintain efficient operations with cost control and profit management
- ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
- enforce safe work behaviors
- monitor daily activities to uphold food quality and cleanliness
- control cash and security procedures
- manage food costs via recipes, portioning, and inventory
- control labor costs through scheduling and sales performance monitoring
- perform all other assigned duties
