Job Duties

  • Supervise employees according to company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, and train staff
  • assign and direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees
  • coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and foster a warm, friendly atmosphere
  • assist team members with job duties when necessary
  • execute corporate and local marketing programs to build sales
  • champion sales and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with cost control and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily activities to uphold food quality and cleanliness
  • control cash and security procedures
  • manage food costs via recipes, portioning, and inventory
  • control labor costs through scheduling and sales performance monitoring
