Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • must complete restaurant manager training classes
  • ability to stand and walk 85-95% of the shift
  • ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
  • ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
  • ability to operate a computer keyboard
  • must use personal vehicle for bank deposits and business travel as required
  • compliance with labor laws and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum 1+ years experience as an Associate Manager and/or 2 years experience as a First Assistant Manager (internal promotion)
  • minimum 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility (external recruit)
  • ServSafe certification required
  • ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • basic math skills
  • proven analytical and organizational skills
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • proficiency with personal computer and related software
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
  • strong ethics and integrity

Job Duties

  • Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees
  • monitors staffing levels and training compliance
  • creates an employee-friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
  • motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance
  • manages daily restaurant operations to ensure excellent guest service and food quality
  • addresses guest complaints and ensures positive resolutions
  • maintains restaurant cleanliness and brand image
  • analyzes restaurant operational and financial performance weekly
  • implements action plans to improve sales and profitability
  • monitors costs and adheres to budget goals
  • ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
