Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • able to stand and walk for long periods
  • able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • able to use hands to handle objects and controls
  • able to bend and stoop
  • able to taste and smell
  • able to verbally communicate effectively
  • able to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and adjust focus
  • able to access all areas of the restaurant
  • available to work various shifts and weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • occasionally assist team members with job duties
  • execute corporate and local marketing programs to build sales
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues ensuring 100 percent satisfaction
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily activities for food quality and cleanliness
  • control cash procedures and review financial reports and schedules
  • control food costs by following recipes and inventory management
  • control labor costs through scheduling tools
  • perform all other assigned duties
