Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years experience in QSR industry or full-service concept
  • ServSafe certified
  • Fluent in English
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and math skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure
  • Proven leadership and team motivation skills
  • Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
  • Ability to drive and travel within assigned area
  • Comfortable with extended periods of standing, sitting, typing, reaching, bending, and lifting
  • Willingness to travel overnight if required

Job Duties

  • Fully staff the store with quality people
  • Recruit, hire, and retain all restaurant employees
  • Ensure the entire team is certified according to current training processes
  • Create a service-oriented culture
  • Promote an environment of fun and teamwork
  • Evaluate performance and recommend salary increases
  • Recommend, approve, and administer disciplinary actions
  • Develop and grow team members and future managers
  • Execute Del Taco standards and use processes and systems consistently
  • Maintain facility and customer areas
  • Maintain all equipment to operational and safety standards
  • Deliver quality products to Del Taco standards
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and standards
  • Ensure employees are in proper uniform
  • Ensure consistent service experience
  • Ensure POP and signage is present and properly located
  • Identify and communicate sales goals
  • Ensure right staffing based on projected and actual sales
  • Increase customer count and check average
  • Identify and execute local store marketing opportunities
  • Stay aware of local events and competition
  • Execute speed and service standards
  • Maintain staffing levels relative to sales
  • Comply with labor laws
  • Accurately order and manage inventory
  • Ensure cash handling procedures are followed
  • Perform cash audits and address issues
  • Execute safety and health standards
  • Manage service vendors efficiently
  • Achieve and communicate controllable cost targets
