Job Requirements

  • High school education or GED
  • Three to five years relevant hospitality experience in food and beverage
  • Current food handler’s card and alcohol service certifications
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and cost controls
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
  • Available to stand for long durations and lift up to 25 pounds without assistance

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality preferred
  • Three to five years experience in the hospitality industry in food and beverage with a guest-focused emphasis
  • Working knowledge of general restaurant operations
  • Current food handler’s card and alcohol service certifications required
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage financial performance and control costs
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to multitask and delegate tasks effectively

Job Duties

  • Uphold the company and brand standards, policies and procedures and hold staff accountable
  • Organize and prioritize work assignments and delegate to appropriate staff
  • Direct service on the floor reflecting the culture of the hotel and brand
  • Create staff schedules to ensure proper staffing
  • Track stock levels of foods, supplies and equipment, forecast needs and oversee ordering
  • Manage budgets and cost control methods to minimize expenses
  • Maintain safety programs for the restaurant, employees and guests
