Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred
  • compliance with state-mandated age requirements for alcohol service where applicable
  • excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Supervise employees following company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, train, assign, and direct employee work
  • appraise performance and provide rewards or discipline
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • assist with category job duties as needed
  • build store sales and execute marketing programs
  • champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost control and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily quality food and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, review financial reports and schedules, take necessary actions
  • control food costs by following recipes, portion control, and inventory management
  • monitor labor costs through scheduling tools
  • perform any other assigned duties
