Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- significant experience in restaurant or food and beverage management
- ability to work full-time, more than 30 hours a week
- capability to handle physical demands including standing and walking for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
- ability to work in a noisy and warm indoor environment near grill and fryer
- strong communication and conflict resolution skills
Job Qualifications
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- proficiency in Excel, Word, and club point of sales systems
- familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines
- significant experience in the food and beverage industry
Job Duties
- Open the shift and set the mood and ambiance
- Close the restaurant and accurately close out the shift paperwork
- Guide and encourage staff to meet Forest Ridge standards of service
- Periodically evaluate restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance
- Handle customer complaints, resolving issues diplomatically and courteously
- Work closely with the kitchen to ensure expedient ticket times, excellent food quality, and proper plate presentation
- Plan, promote, and direct all restaurant activities
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure accurate ordering of food and beverage based on inventory needs and menu items
- Maintain a positive and fun working atmosphere
- Incorporate safe work practices and safe food handling standards
