Job Requirements

  • 2 years of management experience in hospitality or similar industry
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, restaurant, or culinary management preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good organizational ability
  • Passion for creating and personalizing guest experiences
  • Food Handler Certification if applicable
  • Flexible schedule and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Create an exciting, innovative, and memorable dining experience for all guests
  • Lead a well-rounded and knowledgeable front-of-house team
  • Evaluate daily restaurant service performance and coordinate timely food production
  • Participate in evaluation of food products, kitchen employee performance, and product development
  • Develop and manage selection, pricing strategy, and procurement of liquors and wines
  • Assist General Manager in building annual financial objectives and budgeting
  • Execute marketing plans and maintain high operation standards
  • Manage cost control focusing on sales and payroll
  • Communicate effectively with management, employees, and accounting staff
  • Provide training and conduct regular employee performance evaluations
  • Implement ongoing training programs for management and staff
  • Oversee daily cleanliness and maintenance of restaurant areas
  • Supervise non-supervisory service employees
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, coaching, and conflict resolution
