Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • Must meet state age requirements for alcohol service if applicable
  • Physical ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and manual dexterity
  • Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate clearly
  • Visual acuity including close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception
  • Ability to access all areas of the restaurant including sales floor, stock, and register areas

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a leadership role

Job Duties

  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
  • Assigning and directing work

  • Coaching and mentoring team members to ensure success on the job and guest satisfaction

  • Building store sales by executing corporate and local marketing programs
  • Championing sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meeting and greeting guests and resolving food quality/service issues
  • Maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensuring compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforcing safe work behaviors
  • Monitoring daily activities for quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Controlling daily operations with cash control, financial report review, and schedule management
  • Managing food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
  • Monitoring labor costs through effective scheduling
  • Performing all other duties as assigned
