Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior leadership experience required
Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
Must meet state age requirements for alcohol service if applicable
Physical ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods
Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and manual dexterity
Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate clearly
Visual acuity including close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception
Ability to access all areas of the restaurant including sales floor, stock, and register areas

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a leadership role
Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
College or culinary schooling preferred
Excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities

Job Duties

Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
Recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
Assigning and directing work
Appraising performance
Rewarding and disciplining employees
Addressing complaints and resolving problems
Coaching and mentoring team members to ensure success on the job and guest satisfaction
Modeling professional behavior to create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
Assisting team members with job duties as needed
Building store sales by executing corporate and local marketing programs
Championing sales building activities and suggestive selling
Maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
Meeting and greeting guests and resolving food quality/service issues
Maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
Ensuring compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
Enforcing safe work behaviors
Monitoring daily activities for quality food and cleanliness standards
Controlling daily operations with cash control, financial report review, and schedule management
Managing food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
Monitoring labor costs through effective scheduling
Performing all other duties as assigned
