Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail
- Food Safety Manager certification
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math proficiency
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel occasionally including overnight and airline travel
- Ability to operate point-of-sale system
- Must meet all local health and safety regulations
- Must be able to stand and walk for 11-12 hour shifts
- Ability to work in varied temperature conditions
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities under stress
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail management
- Food Safety Manager certification required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Respect for diversity and ability to work inclusively
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to manage high stress situations
- Ability to interpret financial statements and identify operational factors
- Capability to perform duties of all restaurant positions
- Willingness to work a 50-55 hour work week including weekends and holidays
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Strong leadership and development skills for team members
- Ability to anticipate and implement corrective actions
- Licensed to operate a vehicle without hours of operation restrictions
- Reliable transportation available
Job Duties
- Supervise and lead approximately 15-20 crew members on assigned shifts
- Ensure "Guests First" philosophy is prioritized to create a respectful and enjoyable dining environment
- Coach employees on promptly addressing guest complaints
- Work with General Manager on employee selection, coaching, and retention
- Maintain proper staffing levels and schedules
- Oversee restaurant sanitation and ensure compliance with health standards
- Assist General Manager with financial and operational report analysis and budget management
- Drive sales, guest count, and profit by supporting marketing efforts and suggestive selling
- Monitor safety and security procedures to protect guests, employees, and assets
- Manage cash handling, discounts, and inventory control
- Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
- Address and resolve problems such as customer complaints, employee relations, and facility issues
- Foster a culture of teamwork within the restaurant
- Perform other duties as assigned to support restaurant operations
