Job Requirements
- ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly
- ability to stand for prolonged periods
- ability to sit intermittently at a desk and work on a computer
- able to lift at least 50 pounds with assistance if needed
- ability to read and visually verify information in various formats
- visually inspect tools and equipment for defects
- ability to move quickly turning from left to right
- reach overhead and below knees including bending, twisting, pulling, stooping
- ability to work in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures between 40 F and -10 F
- regularly handle hot food and beverages
- effective communication skills for dealing with diverse staff
Job Qualifications
- proven customer service experience as a manager
- ability to recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and staff
- familiarity with restaurant management software such as R365, Aloha, Toast
- strong leadership and motivational skills
- acute financial management and accounting skills
- strong supervisory abilities
- effective communication skills
- able to work flexible hours including off hours, weekends, holidays
- extensive food and beverage knowledge
- 3-5 years of experience as a restaurant, floor, or hospitality manager
