Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certification
- Proven experience in management and staff development
- Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Must possess valid driver’s license and insurance
- Ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of the shift
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive motor vehicle
- Willingness to travel to other restaurants or business locations as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required for internal promotion
- AA degree acceptable for external recruits
- BA/BS degree in business or related field preferred
- Minimum 1+ years experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal promotion
- Minimum 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruits
- Completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in basic math concepts
- Proven analytical skills
- Good organization and planning skills
- Self-starter mentality
- Proficient with personal computers and related software
- Valid driver's license and insurance
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- Monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
- Implement and adhere to training systems for employees on workstations
- Develop internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions
- Ensure execution of Service Profit Chain and "My Promise to You"
- Create an employee-friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
- Treat employees with respect and dignity and recognize achievements
- Manage daily activities to ensure operational excellence and guest satisfaction
- Provide exceptional guest experience through training and accountability
- Respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain brand image through cleanliness, maintenance, and service quality
- Utilize management information tools to analyze operational and financial performance
- Identify trends and implement action plans for improvement
- Focus on increasing sales and profitability by executing the Service Profit Chain
- Monitor costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
