Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification
  • Proven experience in management and staff development
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Ability to lift 10-65 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of the shift
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive motor vehicle
  • Willingness to travel to other restaurants or business locations as required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required for internal promotion
  • AA degree acceptable for external recruits
  • BA/BS degree in business or related field preferred
  • Minimum 1+ years experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal promotion
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruits
  • Completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in basic math concepts
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Good organization and planning skills
  • Self-starter mentality
  • Proficient with personal computers and related software
  • Valid driver's license and insurance

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
  • Implement and adhere to training systems for employees on workstations
  • Develop internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions
  • Ensure execution of Service Profit Chain and "My Promise to You"
  • Create an employee-friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
  • Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
  • Treat employees with respect and dignity and recognize achievements
  • Manage daily activities to ensure operational excellence and guest satisfaction
  • Provide exceptional guest experience through training and accountability
  • Respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain brand image through cleanliness, maintenance, and service quality
  • Utilize management information tools to analyze operational and financial performance
  • Identify trends and implement action plans for improvement
  • Focus on increasing sales and profitability by executing the Service Profit Chain
  • Monitor costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
