Job Duties
- Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, and train employees
- Assign and direct work
- Appraise performance and reward or discipline employees
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
- Occasionally assist team members with job duties
- Assist with building store sales by executing corporate and local marketing programs
- Champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
- Assist in maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- Ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies are met
- Enforce safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment
- Monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards
- Control day-to-day operations including cash control, security procedures, financial reports, and schedules
- Control food costs through recipes, portion control, and inventory management
- Control labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance
- Perform all other duties as assigned
