Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • minimum two years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • availability to work varied shifts and weekends
  • ability to stand for entire shifts and walk long periods without rest
  • ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to reach with hands
  • ability to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
  • ability to bend and stoop
  • ability to taste and smell
  • ability to verbally communicate
  • ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
  • ability to access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock, and register area

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and foster a warm, friendly atmosphere
  • assist team members with job duties as needed

  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations and control costs
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash and financial operations
  • manage food and labor costs
  • perform all other duties as assigned
