Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality
- ServSafe Food and Alcohol Certification
- Ability to work 50-55 hours per week
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to navigate stairs
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
- Must interact effectively with guests and staff
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Hospitality degree preferred
- High school diploma required
- Prior restaurant or hospitality work experience required
- ServSafe Food and Alcohol Certification required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent guest service skills
- Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems
Job Duties
- Manage and direct the work of FOH service department including hiring, scheduling, assigning tasks, training, coaching, counseling, disciplining
- Conduct regular meetings and ensure proper education and certification for staff
- Conduct performance reviews and resolve employee complaints
- Decide upon termination and discipline of team members
- Manage bar inventory, variances, and ordering if applicable
- Manage and direct all FOH departments in the absence of GM and AGM
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in implementing management policies and controlling labor costs
- Address guest complaints and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Utilize company business systems effectively including POS, hiring, scheduling, inventory, and labor management systems
- Assign, review, and approve work of service department
- Determine staffing levels and manage employee breaks and shift cuts
- Participate in interviewing, hiring recommendations, and conducting performance appraisals
- Authorize and assign overtime
- Represent the company in complaints and grievances
