Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality
  • ServSafe Food and Alcohol Certification
  • Ability to work 50-55 hours per week
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to navigate stairs
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
  • Must interact effectively with guests and staff
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Hospitality degree preferred
  • High school diploma required
  • Prior restaurant or hospitality work experience required
  • ServSafe Food and Alcohol Certification required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems

Job Duties

  • Manage and direct the work of FOH service department including hiring, scheduling, assigning tasks, training, coaching, counseling, disciplining
  • Conduct regular meetings and ensure proper education and certification for staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and resolve employee complaints
  • Decide upon termination and discipline of team members
  • Manage bar inventory, variances, and ordering if applicable
  • Manage and direct all FOH departments in the absence of GM and AGM
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in implementing management policies and controlling labor costs
  • Address guest complaints and ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Utilize company business systems effectively including POS, hiring, scheduling, inventory, and labor management systems
  • Assign, review, and approve work of service department
  • Determine staffing levels and manage employee breaks and shift cuts
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring recommendations, and conducting performance appraisals
  • Authorize and assign overtime
  • Represent the company in complaints and grievances
