Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in leadership role
  • Minimum 2 years prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA, health and safety codes
  • Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods
  • Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach, handle, and manipulate objects
  • Ability to bend and stoop
  • Ability to taste and smell
  • Ability to verbally communicate
  • Ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
  • Ability to freely access all restaurant areas
  • Available to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • Adherence to State mandated age requirements for alcohol service where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
  • College or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise employees according to company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, and train employees
  • Assign and direct work
  • Appraise performance
  • Reward and discipline employees
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure employee success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a warm, hospitable atmosphere
  • Assist team members with duties as needed
  • Assist in building store sales by executing corporate and local marketing programs
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Assist in maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies are met
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Control day-to-day operations including cash control, financial reports, and schedules
  • Control food costs through recipes, portion control, and inventory management
  • Control labor costs via scheduling and sales performance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
