Job Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • General knowledge of full-service restaurant operations or hospitality industry
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Strong operational skills in a customer-service and hospitality environment
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Intermediate mathematical computation skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to manage changing priorities
  • Must have valid ServSafe alcohol certification and any other legally required certifications prior to employment
  • Applicants must be legally eligible to work for Hooters

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant management experience in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Successful completion of food safety and sanitation training
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Manage various operational areas including hospitality, guest satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, drink presentation, and atmosphere
  • Assist General Manager in ensuring operations meet company policies and standards
  • Oversee vendor and supplier relationships to guarantee timely compensation and fulfillment of business needs
  • Participate in hiring and selection of front-of-house and back-of-house employees
  • Support employee training, coaching, and development programs
  • Manage performance of hourly staff to ensure success in their roles
  • Assist in business administration tasks including payroll, human resources, marketing, and financial reporting
  • Promote the restaurant to build sales, increase profits, and maintain brand integrity
  • Enforce responsible alcohol service, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • Schedule and staff employees effectively
  • Handle proper cash management
  • Conduct local store and grassroots marketing initiatives
  • Manage to-go and catering services efficiently
