Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years prior restaurant management experience
  • Certification in ServSafe and Food Safety Handler Certification or within 30 days of hiring
  • Training for Intervention Procedures TIPS certification required or within 30 days of hiring
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite programs especially Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with bar service and knowledge of state and local liquor laws
  • Strong catering to-go and events background
  • Ability to manage labor inventory and waste effectively
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Business math accounting and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work an average of 55 plus hours per week and rotating shifts including nights weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain activity throughout the shift
  • Adherence to company uniform and appearance policy

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage all areas of operations for a specific department including marketing and human resources while ensuring company standards of quality service and operations are maintained
  • Frequently interact with guests to ensure they receive the Eli's Service Style experience and follow up on any issues and complaints
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date manpower plan of department staffing needs
  • Prepare schedules and ensure the department is staffed for all shifts
  • Staff train and develop department hourly team members through ongoing feedback and coaching
  • Directly supervise team members correcting behaviors as needed and providing recognition to continuously improve performance
  • Ensure great food is served to every guest by managing all team members
  • Manage inventory efficiently accurately and in a cost-effective manner
  • Run the floor during service to meet service standards and ensure 100 percent guest satisfaction
  • Maintain and manage all general checklists for each area of the restaurant
  • Enforce all handbook policies and standards set forth by the company
  • Adhere to marketing objectives by executing marketing windows
  • Maintain a safe secure and healthy environment by following sanitation standards legal regulations and securing revenues
  • Drive sales steps of service and guest satisfaction
  • Enforce applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
  • Review applications interview and hire or recommend hiring of Front of House employees
  • Create a fun safe environment by following core values operational goals and implementing contests theme nights and incentives for the staff
