Job Requirements

Minimum two years of post-high school education
Two or more years of full employment in a related position
Preferred hotel experience
Strong supervision, management and communication skills
Ability to analyze activities and make logical recommendations
Knowledge of hotel operations and compliance requirements
Leadership ability
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under deadlines
Availability to work on a regular basis

Job Qualifications

Minimum two years of post-high school education
Two or more years of full employment in a related position
Preferred hotel experience
Thorough knowledge of restaurant and hotel practices and procedures
Strong supervision, management and communication skills
Ability to investigate and analyze current activities or information and make logical conclusions and recommendations
Knowledge of hotel operations including marketing, security, safety, personnel, labor relations, business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance, hospitality law and long-range planning
Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff
Ability to set priorities, plan, organize and delegate
Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete and clear
Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences

Job Duties

Direct the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods
Direct the day-to-day operations of the bar operations
Manage the Human Resources in the various outlets in order to attract, retain and motivate the associates
Interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel associates
Conduct performance and salary reviews
Resolve problems and provide open communications
Implement company programs and manage operations to ensure compliance with LSOPs and SOPs, safety regulations and federal, state and local laws
Forecast, implement, monitor, control and report on various outlet budgets including labor, food, beverage costs and supplies
Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments, and problems
Create, recommend, and implement promotions, displays, buffet presentations
Monitor and control the maintenance and sanitation of outlet areas and equipment
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
