Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of post-high school education
- Two or more years of full employment in a related position
- Preferred hotel experience
- Strong supervision, management and communication skills
- Ability to analyze activities and make logical recommendations
- Knowledge of hotel operations and compliance requirements
- Leadership ability
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Availability to work on a regular basis
Job Qualifications

- Preferred hotel experience
- Thorough knowledge of restaurant and hotel practices and procedures
- Strong supervision, management and communication skills
- Ability to investigate and analyze current activities or information and make logical conclusions and recommendations
- Knowledge of hotel operations including marketing, security, safety, personnel, labor relations, business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance, hospitality law and long-range planning
- Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff
- Ability to set priorities, plan, organize and delegate
- Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete and clear
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences
Job Duties
- Direct the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods
- Direct the day-to-day operations of the bar operations
- Manage the Human Resources in the various outlets in order to attract, retain and motivate the associates
- Interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel associates
- Conduct performance and salary reviews
- Resolve problems and provide open communications
- Implement company programs and manage operations to ensure compliance with LSOPs and SOPs, safety regulations and federal, state and local laws
- Forecast, implement, monitor, control and report on various outlet budgets including labor, food, beverage costs and supplies
- Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments, and problems
- Create, recommend, and implement promotions, displays, buffet presentations
- Monitor and control the maintenance and sanitation of outlet areas and equipment
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
