Job Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, use hands for fine manipulation
  • Ability to taste, smell, and communicate verbally
  • Must have good vision and depth perception
  • Must meet state age requirements for alcohol service where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
  • College or culinary education preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Dedication to exceptional guest service
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional team-building capability
  • Basic business math and accounting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects

Job Duties

  • Supervise restaurant staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, and train employees
  • Assign and direct work
  • Appraise performance
  • Reward and discipline employees
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Build store sales by executing marketing programs
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality or service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and company security policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control day-to-day operations including cash control and financial reporting
  • Manage food costs through recipe adherence and inventory management
  • Control labor costs via scheduling tools
  • Perform all other assigned duties
