Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in a leadership role
minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
college and/or culinary schooling preferred
compliance with state age requirements for serving alcohol if applicable
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
ability to use hands and perform duties requiring bending, stooping, and reaching
ability to verbally communicate effectively
vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision
ability to maintain safe work environment
willingness to perform all essential job functions and duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
assigning and directing work
appraising performance
rewarding and disciplining employees
addressing complaints and resolving problems
coaching and mentoring team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
modeling professional behavior to create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
occasionally assisting team members with category job duties
assisting with building store sales by executing corporate and local marketing programs
championing sales-building activities and suggestive selling
maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
meeting and greeting guests and resolving food quality or service issues to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
maintaining efficient operations with appropriate cost controls and profit management
ensuring OSHA, local health and safety code compliance, and company safety and security policies
enforcing safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment for guests and crew
monitoring daily activities for quality food and cleanliness standards
controlling day-to-day operations including cash control/security procedures and reviewing financial reports and schedules
controlling food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
controlling labor costs using labor scheduling tools
performing all other duties as assigned
