Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college and/or culinary schooling preferred
  • compliance with state age requirements for serving alcohol if applicable
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to use hands and perform duties requiring bending, stooping, and reaching
  • ability to verbally communicate effectively
  • vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision
  • ability to maintain safe work environment
  • willingness to perform all essential job functions and duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
  • assigning and directing work
  • appraising performance
  • rewarding and disciplining employees
  • addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • coaching and mentoring team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • modeling professional behavior to create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • occasionally assisting team members with category job duties
  • assisting with building store sales by executing corporate and local marketing programs
  • championing sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meeting and greeting guests and resolving food quality or service issues to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
  • maintaining efficient operations with appropriate cost controls and profit management
  • ensuring OSHA, local health and safety code compliance, and company safety and security policies
  • enforcing safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment for guests and crew
  • monitoring daily activities for quality food and cleanliness standards
  • controlling day-to-day operations including cash control/security procedures and reviewing financial reports and schedules
  • controlling food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
  • controlling labor costs using labor scheduling tools
  • performing all other duties as assigned
