Job Duties
- Lead by example and model standards and behaviors consistent with sweetgreen's core values and culture
- Attract, identify, and hire team members who embody the sweetgreen profile and demonstrate growth potential
- Communicate team wins, priorities, best practices, and operational changes effectively to ensure excellent execution
- Engage with the local community by implementing sweetgreen's marketing and community involvement initiatives
- Serve as a role model through hands-on floor management and effective labor deployment to maximize throughput
- Achieve store sales and financial objectives by removing barriers to success
- Schedule daily labor to meet business needs and deliver outstanding customer service
- Ensure consistent adherence to food safety and security standards
- Maintain food service and production quality through strong front and back of house leadership
- Address performance issues promptly with coaching, counseling, and conflict management
- Contribute ideas that improve productivity, retention, and operations
