Job Requirements
- Ability to lift a tray weighing up to 25 lbs
- able to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- able to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and grasp
- able to hear well in a loud environment
- meets health risk regulations related to food handling
- able to operate point-of-sale systems
- able to work with Denny's menu products
- able to work with potentially hazardous chemicals
- sufficient mobility to move and operate in confined work areas
- able to work inside and outside the restaurant
- able to observe staff and restaurant operations
- capable of standing and walking during an 8 to 10 hour shift
- tolerate extreme temperature changes in kitchen and freezer areas
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- working toward AA or BA/BS degree preferred
- minimum of 3+ years experience as an associate manager or 3 years as an assistant manager
- must be 100% certified in all workstations
- food Safety Manager certification required
- strong organizational skills
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- basic math skills
- values diversity and respect for others
- proven ability to problem solve and handle high-stress situations
- interprets financial statements
- able to perform job duties of every position
- prepared to multitask
- ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and extra shifts
- available to travel occasionally

Job Duties
- Oversees restaurant operations execution and management of staff
- demonstrates a strong commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction
- manages daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
- provides an exceptional experience for guests by ensuring proper training and accountability of the restaurant team
- reviews and modifies practices to continuously improve the guest experience
- responds promptly and professionally to guest concerns and complaints
- ensures management team and crew understand and operate all systems correctly
- maintains restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and excellent service
- uses corporate training programs and individual development plans to develop employees' knowledge and skills
- provides timely, constructive coaching and feedback
- directs restaurant operations to meet Denny's brand standards
- enforces sanitary practices
- monitors security procedures to protect guests, employees, and company assets
- maintains compliance with employment policies and regulations
- proactively addresses and resolves problems involving customers, employees, and facilities
