Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous restaurant experience
  • management experience preferred
  • successful completion of corporate training program
  • highly organized and self-directed
  • ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • exceptional interpersonal, oral, presentation and written communication skills
  • ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment

Job Duties

  • Hires and trains restaurant staff
  • organizes and oversees staff schedules
  • conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations
  • handles discipline and termination of employees according to policy
  • oversees food preparation ensuring compliance with health and hygiene standards
  • ensures customer satisfaction with the restaurant and dining experience
  • handles customer complaints diplomatically and courteously
  • ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations
  • estimates food and beverage costs
  • manages inventory and purchases food and supplies
  • conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment for compliance and maintenance
  • evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and schedules service
  • collaborates with chefs to develop appetizing menus
  • maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts
  • prepares and submits operations reports and documentation as requested
  • performs other duties as assigned
