Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years restaurant management experience
  • ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
  • ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • effective reading and writing skills
  • finger and hand dexterity
  • valid driver's license

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • serve safe food certification preferred
  • serve safe alcohol certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
  • cultivate a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee's core values
  • promptly respond and correct verbal guest complaints
  • complete required table visits to maintain guest contact
  • maintain departmental inventory levels
  • ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
  • effectively schedule employees to meet sales demands
  • maintain effective safety and security programs
  • promote cleanliness and sanitation
  • perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
  • recruit and refer potential team members and management candidates
  • promote training procedures for new managers
  • maintain trained staff through orientation, training sessions, and policy implementation
  • develop employees using performance documentation and evaluations
  • provide fair feedback and work on employee development
  • monitor employee performance and document disciplinary actions
  • ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • control departmental costs
  • comply with local, state, and federal regulations
  • drive bi-weekly and weekly food and liquor inventories
  • prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
  • assure sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department standards
  • provide role model leadership
  • develop expertise in store-related technology
  • work in all restaurant positions as needed
  • use Management Development Program for leadership growth
