Job Description

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years restaurant management experience
- ability to work various shifts including weekends
- ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
- ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- effective reading and writing skills
- finger and hand dexterity
- valid driver's license
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- serve safe food certification preferred
- serve safe alcohol certification preferred
Job Duties
- Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
- cultivate a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee's core values
- promptly respond and correct verbal guest complaints
- complete required table visits to maintain guest contact
- maintain departmental inventory levels
- ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- effectively schedule employees to meet sales demands
- maintain effective safety and security programs
- promote cleanliness and sanitation
- perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
- recruit and refer potential team members and management candidates
- promote training procedures for new managers
- maintain trained staff through orientation, training sessions, and policy implementation
- develop employees using performance documentation and evaluations
- provide fair feedback and work on employee development
- monitor employee performance and document disciplinary actions
- ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- control departmental costs
- comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- drive bi-weekly and weekly food and liquor inventories
- prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- assure sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department standards
- provide role model leadership
- develop expertise in store-related technology
- work in all restaurant positions as needed
- use Management Development Program for leadership growth
