Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Physical ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Effective reading, writing, and communication skills
- Willingness to work in multiple restaurant roles as needed
- Ability to use small tools and equipment
- Compliance with all company policies and legal regulations
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications a plus
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle stress
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Experience with employee training and development
- Proficiency in scheduling and inventory management

- Adaptability to work various shifts including weekends
Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- Cultivates a culture in accordance with the Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
- Ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
- Ensures guest contact as a priority with required table visits
- Maintains departmental inventory levels
- Ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks
- Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- Maintains effective safety and security programs
- Promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
- Performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- Promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team and management candidates
- Promotes Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- Maintains a trained staff through orientation, training sessions, and implementation of company policies
- Participates in employee development using One-on-One sessions and performance documentation
- Assesses employee efficiency and provides fair feedback
- Monitors employee performance and documents situations requiring disciplinary action
- Assures compliance with company policies and procedures
- Controls cost in assigned department
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Drives bi-weekly/weekly food and liquor inventories
- Prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- Assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and company standards
- Provides a role model for managers and employees
- Develops self on all store related technology
- Works in all positions as needed including cooking, seating, and bartending
- Uses the Management Development Program for leadership growth
