Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 1 year experience in management roles or 3 years managing a service concept with full profit and loss responsibility
  • completion of restaurant manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification
  • proficient communication skills in English
  • strong analytical and organizational skills
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of shift
  • ability to lift 10-65 lbs
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment and a motor vehicle
  • self-starter with initiative
  • demonstrates ethical behavior

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma G.E.D or equivalent required
  • associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum of 1 year experience as an associate manager and/or 2 years as a first assistant manager for internal promote
  • minimum of 3 years managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruit
  • must be 100% certified in all workstations
  • must complete restaurant manager training classes
  • must be ServSafe certified
  • ability to speak read and write effectively in English
  • excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • proficient with computers and software
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior

Job Duties

  • Recruits selects trains develops and evaluates restaurant employees
  • monitors staffing levels and implements training systems
  • creates an employee-friendly fun clean and safe environment
  • motivates and inspires employees
  • ensures compliance with labor laws
  • manages daily restaurant operations to achieve excellence
  • provides exceptional guest experience and resolves guest complaints
  • maintains restaurant cleanliness and brand image
  • analyzes operational and financial performance and implements improvement plans
  • focuses on increasing sales and profitability while managing costs
  • makes high quality decisions and supports change initiatives
  • performs other related duties as assigned
  • models and promotes high ethical standards and the Jack in the Box culture
  • trains coaches and develops employees for promotion
