Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by an independent franchisee operating a McDonald's restaurant. While this franchisee holds the license to use McDonald's brand, logos, and food products, it remains a separate entity and employer distinct from McDonald's USA. This means that all employment-related matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are managed solely by the franchisee. Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience as a General Manager in a hospitality setting
  • Ability to understand and analyze Profit and Loss statements
  • Experience executing labor controls and coaching leadership on labor management
  • Capable of creating action plans, delegating tasks, and ensuring completion
  • Ability to manage succession plans and conduct one-on-one development meetings
  • Maintain a fun, productive, and compliant workplace focused on people
  • Ensure workplace and food safety compliance
  • Communicate and track goals effectively
  • Practice Management By Walking Around (MBWA)
  • Lead strategically and take corrective business actions
  • Adopt business owner mindset for assigned unit
  • Follow performance management processes
  • Lead employee-centric training programs
  • Conduct talent acquisition for restaurant roles

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a General Manager in restaurant, retail, hotel, or hospitality
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and act on Profit and Loss (PnL) statements
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Experience managing labor controls and operational plans
  • Proven track record of strategic leadership and business ownership mindset
  • Ability to maintain a safe, productive, and compliant work environment
  • Effective communication and goal tracking skills

Job Duties

  • Run a profitable restaurant that meets McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Lead and support an Assistant Restaurant Leader and Department Leaders
  • Set restaurant goals, create plans and follow up to achieve objectives
  • Coach leadership team on labor controls and operational best practices
  • Manage succession plans and develop internal talent through one-on-one meetings
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, food safety, and workplace safety regulations
  • Lead employee-centric training programs and manage talent acquisition for restaurant roles
