Job Requirements

  • minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant culinary management experience
  • post-high school education or equivalent practical skills
  • ability to lead and coordinate kitchen staff
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • experience of 2 to 3 years in a similar culinary management position
  • post-high school education of 2 to 3 years or comparable skills
  • culinary degree is advantageous but not required
  • advanced knowledge of food service principles and best practices
  • strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • excellent communication skills in speaking, reading, and writing

Job Duties

  • coordinate staff and culinary activities to ensure optimal performance
  • provide guidance and leadership in managing kitchen personnel and overseeing culinary activities
  • supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient service and quality control
  • assess food consumption estimates and requisition essential food items
  • develop and refine menu items and recipes, establishing standardized production methods
  • maintain kitchen equipment through regular maintenance checks
  • enforce safety and hygiene guidelines complying with health and safety regulations
  • supervise catering functions and offer culinary training
  • support professional development of less experienced cooks by sharing culinary techniques and insights
