Job Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in culinary management
  • post-high school education or comparable skills
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • strong organizational skills
  • knowledge of health and safety standards
  • problem-solving skills
  • commitment to quality and customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar culinary management role for 2-3 years
  • post-secondary education of 2-3 years or equivalent skills
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • strong communication skills in speaking, reading, and writing
  • ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • leadership skills for team development
  • culinary degree is advantageous but not required

Job Duties

  • Coordinate staff and culinary activities to ensure optimal performance
  • provide guidance and leadership in managing kitchen personnel
  • supervise daily kitchen operations for efficient service and quality control
  • assess food consumption and requisition essential food items
  • develop and refine menu recipes
  • establish presentation techniques and quality standards
  • conduct regular equipment maintenance
  • adhere to safety and hygiene protocols
  • supervise catering functions
  • offer culinary training and professional development for team members
