Job Requirements

  • experience of at least 2-3 years in a similar culinary position
  • post-high school education background of 2-3 years or comparable skills
  • advanced knowledge of key food service principles and best practices
  • demonstrated strong communication skills
  • ability to manage kitchen personnel and resolve operational issues
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment

Job Qualifications

  • post-high school education background or comparable skills
  • minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar culinary position
  • advanced knowledge of food service industry principles and best practices
  • strong communication skills in speaking, reading, and writing
  • experience in managing personnel and resolving issues in fast-paced culinary environments
  • culinary degree advantageous but not mandatory

Job Duties

  • coordinate staff and culinary activities to ensure optimal performance
  • provide guidance and leadership in managing kitchen personnel and overseeing culinary activities
  • supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient service and maintain quality control
  • assess food consumption and manage procurement of food items
  • develop and standardize recipes to maintain consistent quality
  • establish presentation techniques and set quality standards
  • conduct regular maintenance checks on kitchen equipment
  • ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
  • supervise catering functions and provide culinary training
  • support professional development of less experienced cooks
