Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in kitchen management
- Prior experience in a full-service restaurant kitchen
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage and mentor kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to handle multitasking and fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, reach, and bend during shifts
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a kitchen management role in a full-service restaurant
- Proficient in the following areas of management: leadership, communication, staff mentoring & development, and quality of operations
- Ability to communicate effectively will all levels of staff with strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of employment law and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must possess excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Must possess and demonstrate solid computer skills
Job Duties
- Oversee all kitchen operations during scheduled shifts to include daily decision making, training and scheduling of entire kitchen staff, developing and directing while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness
- Manages and monitors staff labor and checkout procedures throughout each shift, to ensure proper measures are being met in accordance to Buddy's standards
- Provides continuous direction to staff members to ensure operational and procedural measures are met
- Completes all Manager accounting reports as instructed General Manager. Monitors and identifies all unit sales and labor reports
- Identifies operational opportunities by creating and implementing plans to address department areas and store goals
- Performs and monitors all line checks and ensures they are being conducted throughout all shifts
- Fosters a positive working relationship with all staff members to build maximum employee morale, productivity, and development
- Oversees and directs the kitchen staff in order to create and maintain cost effective outcomes. Monitoring yearly overall food and labor costs that comply with goals and budgets set to Buddy's standards
- Demonstrates a safe work environment to reduce the risk of injuries and accidents
- Oversees all deliveries to confirm proper products and billing results are met
- Promotes a positive Buddy's experience with guests handling all guest inquiries and/or concerns. Approves all unit comps, promos, credits and guest requests
