Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in kitchen management
- Ability to work at least 50 hours per week
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage inventory and ordering
- Capacity to handle stressful situations
- Ability to stand and walk entire shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in kitchen management in a full-service restaurant
- Proficient in leadership, communication, staff mentoring, development, and quality operations
- Effective communication skills with all staff levels
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of employment law and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid computer skills
Job Duties
- Oversee all kitchen operations during scheduled shifts including training and scheduling kitchen staff
- Manage and monitor staff labor and checkout procedures to meet Buddy's standards
- Provide continuous direction to staff to ensure operational and procedural compliance
- Complete all Manager accounting reports and monitor sales and labor metrics
- Identify operational opportunities and implement plans to meet store goals
- Perform and monitor line checks throughout shifts
- Foster positive working relationships to build employee morale and productivity
- Oversee kitchen staff to maintain cost-effective outcomes within budget
- Demonstrate a safe work environment to reduce injuries
- Oversee deliveries to ensure proper products and billing
- Handle guest inquiries and approve unit comps, promos, and credits
