Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- prior experience in a guest service environment preferred
- availability for AM or PM shifts
- ability to work all days of the week
- ability to remain on feet for entire length of shift
- ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a guest service environment preferred
- availability for AM or PM shifts, available all days of the week
- ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
- high school diploma or GED required
Job Duties
- Review floor plan and reservation book daily to create seating charts
- seat guests and maintain control of wait times
- inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
- speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, respond to complaints, and thank guests as they are leaving
- answer restaurant telephone line with proper etiquette during assigned hours of operation
- process carryout and delivery orders
- take payments from guests, including cash, credit card, and house charges
- balance register at end of shift, handle cash in accordance with established cash handling policies
- assist with light bussing duties, including clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
