Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Must follow all safety and security policies
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Clean and professional appearance required
  • Must maintain confidentiality of proprietary information

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine number in their party
  • Seat guests by finding a clean, available table and assist with seating arrangements
  • Pull out chairs and place clean/current menus in front of guests
  • Guide guests through dining rooms and provide needed assistance
  • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings including special seating arrangements
  • Ensure place settings include napkins, clean silverware, and other standard items
  • Check menus for cleanliness, currency, and presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and report any accidents or unsafe conditions
  • Maintain professional and clean uniform and personal appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
  • Communicate clearly and professionally both in person and on the telephone
  • Develop positive working relationships and support team goals
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors
