Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in hosting or customer-facing roles
  • Familiarity with hospitality and guest service standards
  • Basic understanding of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Professionalism and good grooming standards
  • Capacity to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, answering any initial questions
  • Manage waitlists and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover
  • Handle guest inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
  • Assist with guest requests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction
  • Process guest payments accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth flow of service and guest seating
  • Uphold high standards of guest relations, hospitality, and service quality at all times
