Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in hosting or customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with hospitality and guest service standards
- Basic understanding of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Professionalism and good grooming standards
- Capacity to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, answering any initial questions
- Manage waitlists and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover
- Handle guest inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
- Assist with guest requests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction
- Process guest payments accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth flow of service and guest seating
- Uphold high standards of guest relations, hospitality, and service quality at all times
