Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party
  • Seat guests by finding a clean, available table
  • Pull out chairs and place clean/current menu in front of guests
  • Guide guests through dining rooms and provide needed assistance
  • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings and organize seating for groups with special needs
  • Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and standard items
  • Check menus for cleanliness, current status, and availability
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
  • Follow company policies and safety and security procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Ensure clean, professional uniform and personal appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Protect company assets
  • Welcome guests according to company standards
  • Speak clearly and professionally
  • Answer telephones using proper etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Support team to reach common goals
  • Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
