The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is an esteemed luxury hotel located in the renowned Deer Valley ski resort, just about 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Current alcohol server certification and/or food service permit as required
  • Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of computers and reservation systems

  • Knowledge of computers and reservation systems
  • Current alcohol server certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state government agency
  • Food service or other relevant certification as required
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Welcome and create the first impression for dining guests on the phone and in person
  • Take down reservations accurately
  • Provide table accommodations according to guest preferences
  • Offer menu recommendations to guests
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and handle final point of contact responsibilities
  • Assist with seating arrangements and managing waitlists
  • Maintain communication with restaurant staff to optimize guest experience
