Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass stringent background investigation
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment and random drug screening
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Able to stand or walk for more than four hours per day
  • Comfortable working in environments with exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, odors, and noise
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, walking, sitting, standing, stooping, and talking
  • Commitment to punctuality and regular attendance according to established policies

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and effectively
  • Knowledge of restaurant reservation and seating protocols
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors
  • Demonstrated ability to provide warm and welcoming hospitality

Job Duties

  • Greets guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • Escorts guests to tables and assists with seating needs
  • Answers phone calls and manages reservation inquiries professionally
  • Records reservation details and special requests accurately
  • Communicates guest requests and VIP information to staff
  • Maintains a positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Relays wait times and other important information to guests
  • Inspects dining and serving areas for cleanliness and setup
  • Coordinates with kitchen, management, serving staff, and customers to address concerns
  • Takes to-go and room service orders, ensuring accuracy
  • Processes daily transactions including cash, credit cards, and vouchers
  • Assists servers and bussers as needed
  • Makes daily floor plans for server rotations
  • Packages takeout orders
  • Monitors server availability to seat guests appropriately
  • Places guests on wait lists and notifies them when tables are ready
  • Confirms amenities with front desk
  • Performs additional job-related duties as assigned
  • Provides quality guest service and resolves issues promptly
  • Builds relationships with guests based on respect and confidence
