Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be available to work all shifts including day, swing, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions
  • Must be able to work in a loud, high-energy 24-hour work environment
  • Exposure to alcohol and smoking environment
  • Ability to secure and maintain licensing as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or other regulatory entities
  • Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach while assisting guests

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Positive and outgoing attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to perform duties under pressure in a fast-paced setting

Job Duties

  • Greeting and welcoming guests
  • Seating guests in a timely manner
  • Assigning wait staff to sections
  • Answering phone and managing seat availability
  • Assisting wait and bar staff
  • Bussing and resetting tables
  • Cleaning host area and restaurant entrance
  • Ensuring safety and security of employees and customers
  • Performing other duties as assigned
