Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • reliable and punctual
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • friendly and approachable demeanor
  • capable of standing for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

  • basic computer skills to operate reservation and waitlist systems
  • positive attitude and enthusiasm for hospitality

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • manage the waitlist, quote accurate wait times, and record guest information in the reservation system
  • plan and rotate guest seating strategically to support service flow and server balance
  • coordinate large party seating using the party guide
  • accommodate special seating requests when possible
  • escort guests to tables, present menus, and provide server introductions
  • communicate guest needs to servers and management as needed
  • assist with cleaning and resetting tables promptly if needed to ensure smooth guest turnover
  • thank departing guests and invite them to return
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
  • collaborate with the FOH team to create a seamless and excellent guest experience
  • when multiple hosts are scheduled, responsibilities will be divided and assigned to maximize efficiency and elevate the overall hospitality experience
  • create craveable, memorable dining experiences
