- previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred

- basic computer skills to operate reservation and waitlist systems

Job Duties
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- manage the waitlist, quote accurate wait times, and record guest information in the reservation system
- plan and rotate guest seating strategically to support service flow and server balance
- coordinate large party seating using the party guide
- accommodate special seating requests when possible
- escort guests to tables, present menus, and provide server introductions
- communicate guest needs to servers and management as needed
- assist with cleaning and resetting tables promptly if needed to ensure smooth guest turnover
- thank departing guests and invite them to return
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
- collaborate with the FOH team to create a seamless and excellent guest experience
- when multiple hosts are scheduled, responsibilities will be divided and assigned to maximize efficiency and elevate the overall hospitality experience
