Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a host in a high-volume, upscale, or lifestyle hospitality venue
- Familiarity with reservation systems such as SevenRooms, OpenTable, or Resy
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to manage guest flow and seating efficiency under pressure
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Working knowledge of POS and reservation systems
- Fluent English
- Spanish preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, and light lifting up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in variable temperatures

Job Duties
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for their experience
- Manage daily reservations and walk-ins using established systems such as SevenRooms, OpenTable, or Resy
- Maintain an accurate seating chart and communicate table status to servers and management
- Coordinate with the F&B and Guest Experience teams to anticipate special requests and guest preferences
- Handle VIPs, hotel guests, and large parties with discretion and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing host stand and entry area
- Ensure menus and collateral are updated, clean, and well-presented
- Communicate wait times and pacing clearly to guests and team members
- Monitor guest flow to optimize seating and maintain a balanced service pace
- Support management by tracking daily cover counts, noting guest feedback, and assisting with special events or programming
- Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel amenities, menus, and ongoing events to provide accurate information to guests
- Assist in resolving guest concerns or complaints promptly and courteously, escalating when necessary
- Participate in pre-service meetings to stay informed on reservations, VIPs, and menu changes
