Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred

Job Duties
- Use the opening and closing checklists on a nightly basis to track completion of opening and closing procedures
- create the best guest experience and cultivate customer return
- ensure every guest is having an enjoyable and memorable dining experience
- provide assistance for the positive resolution of guest concerns
- provide great customer service
- work directly at the host stand to take reservations, establish proper wait times, handle large party requests, and control the flow of seating
- answer phone calls, take reservations and answer questions
- enforce the first five steps of service to all tables being seated when possible
- inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them
- manage reservations and inform management as reservations get near full
- ensure all reservation details are accurate in the system
- follow company policy on large party reservations
- account for all social offer/third party reservations and list necessary notes
- confirm all reservations prior to reservation time
- engage guests in front of or walking past Sevilla to entice entry
- provide guests with menus and answer initial questions
- stay aware of promotions, holiday information and local events
- notify management and kitchen of expected busy times
- assign guests to preferred tables while keeping server rotation in mind
- work with management to create appropriate server stations
- maintain and review the player’s list
- engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service
- respond to complaints and help resolve them
- know all best practices applicable to job
- complete all assigned training tests and courses
- manage guest flow into dining and bar areas and provide accurate wait times
- actively run a guest list as needed
- know various menus and reservation system functions
- understand Sevilla steps of service
- assist other restaurant positions as needed
- adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies
- maintain positive team work attitude
- adhere to uniform expectations
- report any maintenance, security, or safety issues to a manager
- perform other duties as assigned by management
- clock in and out properly and follow company break and meal period policies
- attend mandatory staff meetings
- report suspicions of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and safety issues immediately to a manager
