Job Duties
- Provide proper training and supervision of all personnel including assistant managers and supervisors
- Ensure prompt, courteous service in compliance with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies
- Ensure maximum guest satisfaction while dining
- Conduct daily pre-meal meetings with service staff
- Supervise floor during operation
- Monitor timing of guest experience
- Handle guest complaints satisfactorily
- Maintain smooth running operations
- Create weekly schedules for Front of the House staff
- Ensure kitchen, stewarding, and cashier staff are on duty as scheduled
- Keep side-stations stocked with equipment
- Complete and check out all side-work
- Ensure beverage machines function properly
- Manage station rotation in seating
- Assist in seating or service of guests as necessary
- Coordinate all functions in dining room during service
- Monitor productivity of service staff
- Critique quality and consistency of food product
- Post special boards and descriptions accurately
- Check food quality and presentation from kitchen
- Maintain food displays during service
- Monitor guest satisfaction and comments
- Recognize repeat guests
- Review reservations daily and check VIP list
- Handle all special attention details
- Maintain physical atmosphere and cleanliness of restaurant
- Ensure staff uniforms and appearances meet specifications
- Inspect tabletops, side-stations, and tray stands during service
- Inspect all menus daily
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in good condition
- Maintain neat, orderly, and clean work areas
- Adjust lights and music appropriately for meal periods
- Contribute to restaurant profitability through cost control
- Perform positive up-selling with service staff
- Expedite table turnover and table resetting
- Implement sales promotions and merchandising programs
- Assist cashier with beverage-related procedures and equipment
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Know emergency procedures including CPR and work to prevent accidents
- Enforce liquor liability laws
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
