Job Requirements
- Full-time availability including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years in restaurant management
- Ability to lead and develop a large team
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and financial management
- Experience with technology platforms such as Open Table
- Commitment to upholding health and safety standards
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of restaurant management experience in an upscale dining environment
- Experience in a luxurious cocktail environment preferred
- Strong beverage knowledge
- Experience managing a unionized work environment preferred
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills
- Proven ability to manage financial performance and operational goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations including guest service standards, product quality, cost control, and profitability
- Manage marketing initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and department policies
- Supervise and develop team members through training, evaluations, and recognition
- Create and maintain customer databases and partner with Sales and Marketing on strategy
- Maximize efficiency by utilizing technology systems like Open Table
- Monitor service and satisfaction trends and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol standards
- Implement up-selling techniques including menu creation and cross-selling hotel services
- Recruit, interview, and train restaurant staff
