Job Requirements

  • Full-time availability including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in restaurant management
  • Ability to lead and develop a large team
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and financial management
  • Experience with technology platforms such as Open Table
  • Commitment to upholding health and safety standards
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of restaurant management experience in an upscale dining environment
  • Experience in a luxurious cocktail environment preferred
  • Strong beverage knowledge
  • Experience managing a unionized work environment preferred
  • Exceptional leadership and team development skills
  • Proven ability to manage financial performance and operational goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations including guest service standards, product quality, cost control, and profitability
  • Manage marketing initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and department policies
  • Supervise and develop team members through training, evaluations, and recognition
  • Create and maintain customer databases and partner with Sales and Marketing on strategy
  • Maximize efficiency by utilizing technology systems like Open Table
  • Monitor service and satisfaction trends and implement improvements
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol standards
  • Implement up-selling techniques including menu creation and cross-selling hotel services
  • Recruit, interview, and train restaurant staff
