Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous leadership experience in a similar food and beverage environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with liquor laws and liability regulations
- Commitment to providing exceptional guest service
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Proficiency in scheduling and staff management
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous restaurant general manager experience required
- Knowledge of financial statements and labor productivity
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with customer service and conflict resolution
- Understanding of food and beverage operations and standards
Job Duties
- Oversee Seaglass Lobby Lounge food and beverage service
- Facilitate training and supervision of all Seaglass staff
- Deliver prompt and courteous service complying with company standards
- Insure service personnel follow established service protocols
- Monitor timing and quality of guest dining experience
- Handle guest complaints to satisfaction
- Maintain smooth operation of the restaurant
- Create weekly schedules for Front of House staff
- Ensure kitchen, stewarding, and cashier staff are present as scheduled
- Stock side-stations fully with necessary equipment
- Make sure beverage machines function properly
- Ensure station rotation in seating
- Assist in guest seating and service as needed
- Coordinate dining room functions during service
- Monitor productivity and performance of service staff
- Critique food quality and presentation
- Maintain food displays during service
- Monitor guest satisfaction and manage comments
- Recognize and cater to repeat guests
- Review reservations and VIP lists daily
- Handle all special attention details properly
- Maintain restaurant atmosphere and cleanliness
- Ensure staff uniform and appearance compliance
- Inspect and maintain tabletops and menus
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and condition
- Keep work areas neat and orderly
- Adjust lighting and music according to meal period
- Contribute to restaurant profitability through cost control
- Perform positive up-selling techniques
- Expedite table turnover and resetting
- Implement sales promotions and merchandising programs
- Be familiar with beverage procedures and assist cashier
- Adhere to all company policies and liquor laws
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
