Job Requirements

  • Requires five to seven years of experience in restaurant management
  • WSET or CMS certifications required
  • Must be certified in ServSafe Management course and possess current Washington State food handler card and Mixologist license
  • Must maintain CPR/First Aid certification
  • Proficient in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies, personnel management, recordkeeping, and report preparation
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong math skills with ability to operate inventory, purchasing, and reservation systems
  • Demonstrated skills in team management, delegation, issue resolution, and motivation
  • Ability to interact in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
  • Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Comfortable with fluctuating priorities and new initiatives
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and needs in absence of senior leader direction

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
  • Five to seven years of experience in restaurant management
  • WSET or CMS certifications
  • ServSafe Management certification
  • Current Washington State food handler card and Mixologist license
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong math and financial skills
  • Experience with inventory, purchasing, and reservation systems (Craftable, Avero, Acumatica, Resy, Micros preferred)
  • Demonstrated team management, delegation, and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Ability to manage fluctuating priorities and new initiatives

Job Duties

  • Align business operations with hotel mission, values, and vision
  • Develop and implement staff training and mentoring programs
  • Supervise day-to-day restaurant managers and service staff activities
  • Prepare action plans to achieve operational objectives
  • Manage financial targets by forecasting, scheduling, and analyzing expenditures
  • Oversee bar menu planning, inventory, and ordering
  • Collaborate with kitchen and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service
  • Promote safety and sanitation standards
  • Build and lead high-performing teams including hiring and scheduling
  • Create marketing initiatives and social media promotions
