Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5-7 years experience in restaurant management and supervision
  • Ability to analyze and interpret operation results
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under pressure
  • Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner
  • Must be certified in alcohol awareness
  • Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a gaming license
  • Ability to work long hours
  • Ability to stand for long periods without sitting or leaning
  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times daily
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking work and exert physical effort up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently
  • Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body and arms
  • Ability to work under variable temperature and noise levels
  • Use of stairs and elevators

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 4-year degree in related fields preferred
  • 5-7 years experience in restaurant management and supervision
  • Certified in alcohol awareness
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission
  • Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA standards
  • Ability to analyze and interpret restaurant operational results
  • Knowledge of budgeting, profit and loss review, percentages, variances
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform assigned duties accurately under pressure
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Create a strong partnership with culinary and front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional guest service, consistent dish presentation, and exceptional food quality
  • Maintain open communication with staff and foster a team spirit
  • Work closely with servers, hostesses, and culinary staff to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleanliness exceeds expectations
  • Supervise and assist in guest service training for all team members
  • Manage quality control of service and timeliness of food and alcohol orders
  • Evaluate and respond to guest trends, needs, issues, and comments
  • Assist with the development of marketing strategies to drive new visitation, guest loyalty, and VIP player and host driven events
  • Help create venue awareness through social media channels
  • Plan and execute various ethnic Asian holiday calendar events
  • Stay abreast of competitive techniques and strive for continuous improvement
  • Ensure the outlet’s physical appearance and fixtures, furniture, and equipment are maintained in exceptional condition
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations associated with food, alcohol, and gaming
  • Coordinate with culinary team and purchasing to ensure appropriate beverage and food inventories
  • Optimize controlling the cost of labor, food, and beverage
  • Perform continuous process improvement for enhancing Asian guests’ amenities and support of gaming pit areas and retail opportunities
