Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Proven budget management skills
  • Exceptional leadership abilities
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Proficiency with restaurant management software
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for guest service
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in luxury dining preferred
  • Certification in food safety preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Regular attendance
  • Compliance with company policies

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience in high-volume restaurant environment
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations including culinary techniques and beverage pairings
  • Proven experience managing budgets and driving profitability
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software such as POS and scheduling tools
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in luxury dining or high-profile restaurants preferred
  • Certification in ServSafe, HACCP or equivalent a plus
  • Multilingual abilities beneficial especially English and Spanish

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring service and kitchen standards are met
  • Monitor and manage workflows between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
  • Develop and implement procedures to maintain consistent food quality and service excellence
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to set expectations and communicate goals
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and receiving processes to control costs
  • Implement and monitor reservation systems to optimize guest satisfaction and revenue
  • Recruit, train, and develop front-of-house and back-of-house staff
  • Set performance goals and conduct evaluations
  • Lead and promote a collaborative team culture
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage restaurant budgets including labor and food costs
  • Analyze financial data and develop revenue-generating initiatives
  • Collaborate with culinary and marketing teams to optimize menu and promotions
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, ambiance, and guest service
  • Resolve guest complaints and employee conflicts promptly
