Job Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Open availability to work at least 5 days and 48 hours per week
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Successful background check and motor vehicle report
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with team members
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • 3-5 years of management experience required
  • Restaurant management experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • 3-5 years of management experience required
  • Previous restaurant management experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys General Manager Development Plan and Operations Excellence Capstone class
  • Complete food safety certification and manager certification
  • Ensure that the restaurant delivers great experiences to guests
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, retaining, and recognizing top performers
  • Provide proper training, ongoing mentoring, coaching, and development to team members while holding them accountable
  • Create effective work schedules timely to drive sales and control labor costs
  • Plan and delegate shift assignments and communicate expectations
  • Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld
  • Create and maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale by providing guidance and leadership
  • Manage profitability through driving sales, controlling costs, developing team members, and ensuring operational standards
  • Build community relationships to increase sales and provide outstanding service
  • Control costs and losses and ensure compliance with all guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Complete performance reviews for crew members and assist with manager reviews
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Utilize management tools and keep neat, accurate, and current records
  • Review performance metrics daily and develop action plans to enhance profitability, sales, and guest experience
  • Handle and report guest and team member complaints, concerns, and injuries timely and with respect
  • Maintain flexibility and perform beyond position parameters
  • Ensure team safety and adherence to safety guidelines
  • Escalate concerns to supervisors when necessary
  • Perform all duties necessary to ensure restaurant operations function properly
